Many ISCA Certified Professional Soil Classifiers (CPSC) have had experience working with the US Department of Agriculture, have college degrees in Ag or related degrees, or have taught Ag-related courses at colleges or universities. Most CPSCs have field experience in evaluating soil properties that can be affected by farm management practices. These CPSCs can evaluate the soils in the field and suggest practices that will be beneficial to the biological, physical, and chemical components of the soil to help sustain the soil resource on the farm.
